Reno, Nevada – September 24, 2026 -- Choice Mutual has launched a ChatGPT assistant plugin that lets consumers research, quote, and buy final expense and burial insurance policies through conversation instead of web forms.
The digital insurance agency, based in Reno, Nevada, says the tool is the first final expense insurance marketplace built directly into ChatGPT. Users can compare plans from top-rated providers and complete a purchase in minutes.
The plugin skips traditional web forms entirely
Instead of filling out multi-screen quote forms, users share basic details—age, state of residence, and coverage needs—one step at a time through natural dialogue. The assistant does not require a phone number or email address, and users can ask clarifying questions or adjust coverage amounts mid-conversation without restarting.
"Our goal was to make understanding final expense options and price transparency completely seamless," said Anthony Martin, CEO of Choice Mutual. "This tool adapts entirely to the user. You can ask clarifying questions mid-stream, pause, or adjust coverage amounts without ever losing your progress or having to restart a form."
Pricing pulls live rates from over 20 insurers
The assistant connects to Choice Mutual's internal platform and pulls real-time pricing from more than 20 top-rated insurers, including Mutual of Omaha, Aflac, TruStage, Aetna, and Transamerica. Because the quotes reflect actual live rates rather than broad estimates, users can review policy costs anonymously and with no obligation to buy.
The tool doubles as an interactive knowledge base
Beyond generating quotes, the assistant is trained on Choice Mutual's library of resources covering policy types, pre-existing health conditions, and funeral costs. Users can ask complex questions directly and get immediate answers without searching through articles.
