Auburn Hills – October 06, 2026 -- Jeep has been named the Official 4x4 of Moab, Utah, under a new two-year agreement approved by the Moab City Council that ties the brand directly to trail maintenance, local events, and conservation funding in the off-road destination.
The deal formalizes decades of trail history between Jeep and Moab
Jeep vehicles have been tested on Moab's trails for generations, and the city hosts the annual Easter Jeep Safari, run by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers, which draws thousands of off-road enthusiasts each year. Branden Coté, Jeep CEO, said Moab's trails, landscapes, and community have helped define off-road adventure for generations of owners.
Jeep will fund trail care, local events, and a 2027 stewardship project
The partnership, which began this month, includes annual funding, event sponsorships, and trail-care work aimed at preserving access to Moab's outdoor spaces. As part of the 2027 Easter Jeep Safari, Jeep will partner with the Red Rock 4-Wheelers, the Bureau of Land Management Moab Field Office, and Tread Lightly! on a stewardship project focused on the Chicken Corners trail corridor. The agreement also backs the Red Rock Arts Festival and Moab's upcoming 125-year anniversary celebration.
Michael Black, Moab City Manager, said the sponsorship converts a long relationship between Moab and Jeep into direct community benefits, including advertising revenue, trail maintenance support, and funding for city events.
The Moab deal joins a wider 2026 slate of Jeep-backed off-road events
Throughout 2026, Jeep has sponsored Jeep Beach in Daytona Beach, Florida; Toledo Jeep Fest in Toledo, Ohio; Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; the Rebelle Rally women's off-road navigation competition; and trail-access efforts on the Rubicon Trail in California. Jeep and Moab will begin rolling out partnership initiatives over the coming months.
