Danimás Launches Luxury Ready-to-Wear Line Built for Strength-Trained Women

New York – September 24, 2026 -- Danimás, the luxury performance brand founded by Dany Garcia, launched its first ready-to-wear collection on September 24, 2026, with prices ranging from $150 to $1,995, available exclusively at danimas.com.

The Fall/Winter 2026 collection spans 28 styles across 60 SKUs

A Fall delivery arrives in September, followed by a Holiday drop in October, with activewear planned for Spring 2027. The line targets what the brand calls the "Athlete of Life" -- women who bring strength training into daily life.

Fit architecture was built on proprietary research into strength-trained bodies

Rather than using conventional fashion sizing, Danimás studied how muscular development affects proportion, garment balance and fit, applying those findings to patternmaking across the collection.

New PMOS Research Reveals Weight Bias Delays Diagnosis for Years

San Diego – September 24, 2026 -- A new national study finds that more than 1 in 5 people with Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS)—the condition recently renamed from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)—waited over five years for a formal diagnosis, with weight stigma cited as a major driver of delayed care.

The research, conducted by eating disorder treatment provider Equip in partnership with Women's Health, surveyed 1,048 women and intersex individuals in the U.S. with diagnosed or suspected PMOS. The IRB-approved study (Sterling IRB: 16473) recruited participants through CloudResearch, using bot detection and attention checks to verify data quality.

Lucy Goods Launches First Non-Stimulant Energy Gum, Skips Caffeine

Las Vegas – September 24, 2026 -- Lucy Goods, Inc. has launched LUCY REVIVE, a chewing gum the company calls the first non-stimulant energy product, available now direct-to-consumer at lucy.co and on Amazon.

The gum skips caffeine entirely, targeting cellular energy instead of blocking fatigue signals

Unlike coffee, energy drinks, or energy shots, which work by masking tiredness, LUCY REVIVE uses a blend of micronutrients and nootropics designed to support the body's own energy production. It contains no caffeine and no nicotine. The company says users can take up to six pieces a day, spaced throughout as needed, and that it is meant to complement -- not replace -- a morning coffee.

Alicia Silverstone Joins Global Push to Find Homes for Shelter Pets

Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. – September 24, 2026 -- Animal lovers, celebrities and rescue groups in more than 180 countries marked the 14th annual Remember Me Thursday campaign today, using social media, candle-lighting ceremonies and flag raisings to draw attention to pets still waiting for adoption.

Organized by Helen Woodward Animal Center, the movement asks participants to post on social media using the handle @RememberMeThursday and the hashtag #ShineALight, sharing stories about rescue pets to highlight the ongoing need for adoptions.

The campaign began in 2013 to address pet homelessness statistics.

Helen Woodward Animal Center President and CEO Mike Arms launched Remember Me Thursday after learning that more than a million homeless pets die in the U.S. each year without finding homes. What started as a call to rescue organizations has grown into a campaign involving more than 1,000 animal welfare organizations worldwide.

Biotech Firm Launches $120 Anti-Aging Cream to Fund Cancer Drug Research

Wilmington, Del. – September 24, 2026 -- Biophysical Therapeutics is now accepting pre-orders for an anti-aging moisturizer priced at $120, with only 500 units available in its first production run at www.IF1.skin.

The Delaware-based biotech company launched the product under a new consumer brand called IF1, named after a protein the company says plays a role in determining lifespan across mammal species.

The moisturizer's formula is based on research into why species age at different rates.

Biophysical Therapeutics says its research found that species with higher levels of IF1 protein tend to live longer -- comparing a mouse's four-year maximum lifespan to a bowhead whale's lifespan of centuries. The company reports that increasing IF1 protein in mice reduced aging as measured by a biomarker for aging.
