Toyota Turns the Crown Signia Into a Widebody GT at SEMA

Plano, Texas – October 31, 2026 -- Toyota has turned the 2026 Crown Signia into a lowered, widebody grand tourer called the Crown Signia GT-S Concept, shown at the 2026 SEMA show. The idea: a vehicle with room for family, friends, and gear that still looks at home on canyon roads.

The one-off was built by the Toyota Motorsports Garage. It keeps the Crown Signia's clean body lines and low-slung SUV proportions, then adds an aggressive stance and a purpose-built wheel-and-tire package.

Widebody fenders and a custom gray finish reshape the Crown Signia

The long roofline is paired with fully integrated widebody fenders, reshaped headlight surrounds with red accents, a revised rear treatment, and a sporty aero package. Toyota says these changes alter the vehicle's proportions while preserving the elegance of the original design.

2027 Toyota Crown Signia: $44,890 Start, More Standard Tech

Plano, Texas – October 31, 2026 -- The 2027 Toyota Crown Signia starts at $44,890 for the XLE grade and $51,155 for the Limited, and the Limited now comes with driver-assist features that previously cost extra. Prices exclude the Delivery, Processing and Handling fee, and the first models are expected at Toyota dealerships later this year.

The Limited grade absorbs the Advanced Technology Package

For the 2027 model year, the Advanced Technology Package is standard on the Limited. That brings a Panoramic View Monitor, Lane Change Assist, Front Cross-Traffic Alert, and Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking. Traffic Jam Assist is also included, though it needs an Active Drive Connect trial or subscription and a 4G network. The Limited's outer mirrors gain puddle lights and a reverse tilt-down feature. A new “Inked” exterior color replaces black.
