Austin – October 12, 2026 -- Later this fall, US users will be able to share their Function lab test results directly into the Google Health app, putting blood work and daily wearable data in one place.

Function and Google Health announced the partnership to connect what people do every day with what is happening inside their bodies. The experience combines everyday tracking with Function's lab testing and its Medical Intelligence (MI) system.

Wearable signals meet 160+ lab tests

Google wearables, including the Google Fitbit Air, Pixel Watch 5 and the new Google Fitbit Edge, track signals such as resting heart rate, sleep patterns, heart rate variability (HRV) and cardio load. Paired with Function's 160+ lab tests, those signals can show what is happening beneath the surface. Medical Intelligence then turns each result into insights people can understand and act on.

West Hollywood – October 12, 2026 -- Patients in West Hollywood, Beverly Hills and greater Los Angeles can now get Morpheus8, FaceTite and AccuTite treatments for skin texture, scarring and mild laxity at Sunset Oral and Facial Surgery, the practice of oral and maxillofacial surgeon David Salehani, DDS, MD.

The additions sit alongside the practice's existing facial implants, genioplasty and injectable treatments. They give patients a minimally invasive way to improve skin quality and firmness without surgery.

Morpheus8 pairs microneedling with radiofrequency heat

Developed by InMode, Morpheus8 uses fine microneedles to create tiny, controlled channels in the skin. Radiofrequency energy then heats the deeper tissue layers to stimulate the body's own collagen production. Needle depth can be adjusted to reach up to four millimeters below the surface, so each session can be tailored to the treatment area and the patient's concern.

Rochester – October 12, 2026 -- Parents in Monroe County picking an indoor play center can look at lighting, noise, layout and floor padding, according to a HelloNation article featuring Kristen Bonn of Play Palace.

Soft lighting and quiet corners help kids focus

Soft, natural or adjustable lighting reduces glare, the article explains. Sound-absorbing materials and controlled noise levels let children concentrate without distraction. Quiet corners give them a place to pause, regroup or switch to calmer activities.

Defined play zones let children set their own pace

Open floor plans with clearly marked zones show children where each type of play happens. Separate areas for climbing, imaginative play and creative exploration let them move at their own speed. Padded flooring and safe equipment support motor development and lower the risk of injury.

Accomac, Virginia – October 12, 2026 -- Homeowners in coastal Virginia can cut down on termites, ants, and rodents by sealing the crawl space beneath their house, according to a HelloNation article featuring Clay Morgan of Charles E Morgan & Sons Inc. in Accomack County.

Moisture is what draws pests under the house

Humid weather and damp soil in communities such as Onancock create conditions that attract insects and rodents, the article explains. Unsealed crawl spaces often supply the moisture, shelter, and access pests need. Termites, ants, and rodents can get in through foundation gaps, open vents, or damaged barriers.

Encapsulation combines three steps

The process includes installing vapor barriers, sealing openings, and managing humidity. Together, these steps separate the crawl space from damp soil and outdoor air. A drier space is less attractive to pests and helps protect wooden supports and other structural materials.
