The company has begun mass production of tires using three types of ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) Plus certified carbon black derived from end-of-life tire pyrolysis oil. This breakthrough is the result of a collaborative effort within the Tire-to-Tire Circular Economy Model consortium, a group of 12 Korean companies and institutions, including Hankook Tire, dedicated to establishing a circular economy for tire production in South Korea. SHERIDAN, WYOMING – November 6, 2024 – Apollo Tyres has launched the Vredestein Traxion CropCare, its first VF (Very-High Flexion) sprayer tire. The new tire has been engineered for trailed and self-propelled sprayers and will be available in two sizes (VF 380/90 R46 and VF 380/105 R50) in early 2025.

Apollo says the tires will set new standards for stability, self-cleaning, and long life in the crop tire segment. The company is confident that the new tire will be a valuable addition to its agricultural tire portfolio.
