Nissan to Launch Affordable Vehicle-to-Grid Technology in 2026

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 12, 2024 – Nissan today announced it will launch affordable bi-directional charging on selected electric vehicles in 2026.  

The project progresses the commitment made in Nissan's business plan, The Arc, to deliver differentiated innovations that enable the EV transition, while unlocking new revenue streams.  

It also supports the company's long-term vision, Ambition 2030, to create a cleaner, safer, and more inclusive world.

Nissan's Tochigi Plant Guest Hall Reopens Following Renovation

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 12, 2024 – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. announces today that its Tochigi Plant Guest Hall in Tochigi Prefecture has reopened following a significant renovation.  

The Tochigi Plant has welcomed more than 2.43 million visitors since 1974, primarily elementary school students. In 2005, a new guest hall was established to house information about the plant's operations, showcasing technology and the Nissan brand through car displays and events.

Nissan Formula E Team to Field Rowland and Nato for Season 11

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 11, 2024 – Nissan Formula E Team will pair Oliver Rowland and Norman Nato for the 2024/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, forming an experienced and competitive driver line-up.  

Following a fruitful partnership in the GEN2 era, Rowland enjoyed a strong Season 10 with the team. The British driver took two victories, including a home win in the final race of the year, in addition to two pole positions and five further podiums on his way to fourth in the standings.
