SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Feb. 9, 2025 – Artemide, the renowned Italian lighting manufacturer, has announced the formation of the "Artemide design group," an exclusive VIP customer group comprising furnishing specialists, interior experts, object designers, and specialist retailers. This initiative aims to elevate collaborative partnerships with established premium partners and pave the way for a shared vision of the future.
A Hub for Like-Minded Exchange
Currently, the group consists of 30 members in Germany and five in Austria, all of whom are distinguished by their high-quality design and lighting solutions for residential, work, and commercial spaces. They share a passion for innovative materials, technologies, and sustainability concepts with the Pregnana Milanese-based lighting manufacturer, as well as a keen interest in the design ideas of tomorrow. The newly designed logo of the Artemide design group cleverly references one of Artemide's most innovative and influential products of recent years: the lettering resembles the characteristic letters of the Alphabet of Light, through which rooms can be imbued with a wide variety of lighting messages.
Mutual Empowerment
Artemide will maintain close contact with its partners in the future, fostering intensive collaboration. Exclusive workshops and training courses are planned to impart both technical product know-how and comprehensive insights into holistic lighting design. In addition, the company will leverage its own reach to specifically strengthen its partners' communication. The overarching goal is a collaborative market presence in which both sides benefit from each other and provide effective support.
Successful Launch Events
The partnership was launched in mid-January at IDX 22 in Hamburg. As part of the "Artemide design group Days," the Artemide design group first visited the Elbphilharmonie, followed by a harbor tour on the event ship "Grosser Michel." A joint dinner rounded off the first day. The following day, the participants met in the premises of IDX 22 in Hamburg's HafenCity for an in-depth exchange. Artemide's market strategies and focus products were explained, as was the communication strategy for the Artemide design group. There was intensive discussion about challenges, expectations, perspectives, and goals.
From January 22nd to 23rd, 2025, another launch event followed at IDX 81 in Munich. In addition to the content focus, this event included a tour of the Paulaner brewery, ice stock shooting, and an evening meal with an improvisation theater performance. Both events proved to be a resounding success – and impressively demonstrated the potential inherent in the joint collaboration.
