SHERIDAN, WYOMING – NOVEMBER 02, 2024 - The BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy 2024 marked a thrilling return to the event's roots in Africa, with Namibia serving as the stunning backdrop for the ninth edition of this legendary adventure. Over six days, 22 teams from around the globe, including 16 men's and 6 women's teams, navigated a challenging 1,350-kilometer route through Namibia's diverse and demanding terrains. A Test of Skill, Endurance, and Camaraderie This year's event was more than just a competition; it was a true test of skill, endurance, and camaraderie, embodying the essence of the GS spirit. Participants faced a series of special stages designed to push their limits, testing their off-road riding abilities, mechanical knowledge, navigation skills, and teamwork. The GS Trophy 2024 was a global celebration of adventure motorcycling, bringing together nearly 190 participants, including riders, marshals, mechanics, and media representatives from 34 nations. With 120 motorcycles and 32 support vehicles traversing Namibia's rugged landscapes, the event created a vibrant display of international unity and shared passion for exploration.
