SHERIDAN, WYOMING – July 10, 2024 – molo, the Vancouver-based design studio celebrated for its sustainable and flexible space-making solutions, is commemorating two decades of design excellence with a captivating installation at Maison&Objet Paris 2024. Taking place from September 5-9, the exhibit will showcase the versatility and artistry of molo's signature soft collection, a modular system that reimagines the way we interact with our surroundings.

A Design Legacy Rooted in Sustainability and Flexibility

Since its inception in 2004, molo, founded by Stephanie Forsythe and Todd MacAllen, has consistently pushed the boundaries of design, merging artistry with functionality. Their approach to design emphasizes sustainability, flexibility, and a deep respect for materials. The soft collection, a hallmark of molo's design ethos, features expandable, compressible paper and textile elements that seamlessly adapt to diverse environments. From creating space partitions in a home office to defining areas in a bustling co-working space, the soft collection's modularity allows users to tailor their surroundings to their specific needs.

Maison&Objet Installation: An Exploration of Light, Color, and Emotion

molo's Maison&Objet installation will immerse visitors in a multi-sensory experience, exploring the interplay of light, color, and emotion within dynamic, adaptable spaces. The installation will be constructed entirely from the soft collection, featuring three distinct finishes – aluminum textile, limited edition forest green, and petal pink textile – each chosen for its unique interaction with light and ability to evoke specific moods.

Throughout the exhibition, the installation will undergo daily transformations, highlighting the versatility of the soft collection and its capacity to adapt to evolving needs and preferences. Visitors will be able to witness the poetic interplay of light and shadow on the pleated surfaces of the aluminum textile, while the vibrant forest green and delicate petal pink textiles will infuse the space with warmth and energy.

Meet the Designers Behind the Vision
