The development and use of novel materials is an important part of DURABLE's comprehensive sustainability strategy. The felt material for EFFECT is made from recycled PET plastic. Used plastic is thus returned to the circular economy, reducing the use of new raw materials by 60%. Disposal is easy too, because the PET felt can be recycled again.
