SHERIDAN, WYOMING – July 13, 2025 – All in CARAVANING (AIC) 2025 came to a triumphant close on May 11 at the Beijing Shougang Convention & Exhibition Center, delivering a vibrant celebration of RV culture that shattered previous attendance records and reinforced the growing popularity of caravanning in China and beyond.
With a 51% jump in visitor numbers compared to last year, this standout event proved once again why it's considered China’s premier RV and camping exhibition. Over the three-day run, AIC welcomed 18,268 visits, including 365 international guests from 41 countries and regions — a testament to the event’s global reach and rising appeal.
A Global Showcase for Mobile Travel Enthusiasts
As the only official daughter show of CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf, AIC continues to draw strength from its German roots while adapting to the Chinese market. This year’s edition covered a vast 27,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor space and featured 100 domestic and international exhibitors showcasing the latest in motorhomes, camping gear, and RV technology.
Despite a rainy opening day, the energy remained high. Exhibition booths were constantly buzzing, and deals were sealed in celebratory fashion with ringing gongs and joyful applause.
“Over the past 14 years, AIC has been dedicated to creating an international and professional exhibition platform for China’s RV and camping industry. This year, AIC has undergone further enhancements – with improved promotional efforts, new on-site activities, and the introduction of unique feature areas to better meet the needs of the local market”, says Stefan Koschke, Global Head Caravaning & Outdoor.
Strong Industry Impact and Bright Market Outlook
Preliminary estimates indicate that about 90% of the exhibitors received on-site orders and established new business partnerships. Beyond commercial success, AIC 2025 also highlighted a broader cultural shift: RV travel is evolving into a lifestyle choice for more age groups and demographics.
“Caravanning is increasingly regarded not merely as a leisure pursuit, but as an expression of a quality-conscious and independent travel culture. This development is gaining momentum far beyond Europe and North America, as impressively demonstrated by All in CARAVANING,” said Daniel Onggowinarso, Managing Director of Caravaning Industrie Verband e.V.(CIVD), and added: “High visitor turnout, a professional business atmosphere and the broad spectrum of showcased products reflect the rising interest in mobile travel and highlight the growing significance of the Chinese caravanning market. CIVD and CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf will remain committed to supporting All in CARAVANING and fostering the continued development of this important industry platform.”
Special Guests and Family Fun Enhance the Experience
Among the notable attendees was German table tennis legend and CIVD brand ambassador Timo Boll, who visited the show for the third year in a row. An avid caravanning fan himself, Boll engaged with exhibitors and visitors alike.
“The AIC has developed well and you can sense a great deal of interest in this giant and holiday form among local visitors. I think that the Chinese caravanning market has great potential and will continue to grow in the future”, says the most successful German table tennis player.
The event attracted families with children, young couples, and Best Agers, showing how the RV lifestyle now resonates across generations. Many visitors even found their ideal RVs on-site, setting the stage for future adventures.
Interactive Events and Expert Panels Add Extra Value
Beyond the showroom floor, two expert-level conferences explored important industry topics. One standout was the Seminar on European Legal Requirements for RVs and Related Products, where CIVD’s Tim Rüttgers offered detailed insights on certification standards and export strategy for China-based companies eyeing the European market.
Meanwhile, the fairgrounds came alive with engaging attractions like the RV Food Market, the lively Creative Activity Area, and the new Organic Festa Market — a crowd favorite thanks to its variety of eco-conscious products and family-friendly atmosphere.
Looking Ahead to a Brighter RV Future
With rising consumer interest, strong exhibitor participation, and international backing, AIC 2025 has set the stage for continued growth in China’s RV and camping scene. The event not only celebrated adventure and freedom but also reinforced caravanning as a vibrant and accessible lifestyle.
