SHERIDAN, WYOMING – September 4, 2024 - Thule, a leader in premium products for active lifestyles, is thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of the Thule VeloTrack, an innovative e-bike-compatible bike rack designed specifically for vans. Set to hit the market in March 2025, the Thule VeloTrack offers an unparalleled combination of enhanced loading capacity, adaptability, and user-friendly design, making it easier than ever to bring your bikes along on any adventure.

A New Standard in Bike Transportation

The Thule VeloTrack is designed with the modern adventurer in mind, providing a robust solution for transporting e-bikes, mountain bikes, and fat bikes. By attaching directly to the frame and hinges of the van’s rear door, the VeloTrack ensures a strong and stable load capacity of up to 60 kg. Its long, sturdy rails are capable of accommodating tires up to 3 inches wide, and the ample spacing between the rails allows for the easy loading of larger and heavier e-bikes. Remarkably, the rear door can still be opened even when the bikes are mounted, offering seamless accessibility.

Expandable and Adaptable for Every Need

One of the standout features of the Thule VeloTrack is its expandability. If you need to bring along an extra bike, the system can be extended with an additional third bike rail, allowing it to carry up to three bikes. For those with fat bikes, the standard wheel holders can be easily swapped with Thule Fatbike Adapters, which can accommodate tires up to 5 inches wide. Moreover, for users looking to simplify the loading process for heavier bikes, an optional lightboard accessory (sold separately) enables the VeloTrack to be installed in the lowest position.

Secure, Convenient, and Easy to Use

The Thule VeloTrack is not only versatile but also secure and straightforward to use. Equipped with newly designed bike arms, it allows for easier and more flexible attachment of bikes while ensuring they remain securely in place throughout the journey. Installation is simple, requiring no drilling, and the rack can be easily dismounted when not in use. For existing Thule Elite Van XT owners, upgrading to the Thule VeloTrack is a seamless process that significantly enhances the capability of their current setup.

The Thule VeloTrack will be available in Germany for €1,279 and in Belgium, the Netherlands, and France for €1,299.
