SHERIDAN, WYOMING – February 20, 2025 – The Motorradmesse Erfurt, the ultimate event for motorcycle enthusiasts in Central Germany, is celebrating its 25th anniversary on March 22nd and 23rd, 2025. Over 18,000 square meters, leading manufacturers such as BMW, Ducati, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, Triumph, Harley-Davidson, Indian and Voge will present their latest models. Visitors can not only admire the machines up close but also test them on site.
Motorcycle Premieres and a Diverse Supporting Program
In addition to the latest motorcycle premieres, the anniversary edition offers a varied supporting program. Visitors can look forward to a breathtaking stunt show in the outdoor area, discover unique Simson custom conversions in a special exhibition and equip themselves with high-quality accessories and stylish clothing for the new season. For those who want to get active themselves, there are test drives with current models.
Freestyle Motocross World Star Luc Ackermann
An absolute highlight is the appearance of freestyle motocross world star Luc Ackermann. The Thuringian extreme athlete, known for spectacular stunts and world records, will be available for interviews and autographs on both days. Ackermann gained international attention at the age of twelve when he jumped the youngest motorcycle backflip in FMX history in front of 10,000 spectators at the NIGHT of the JUMPs in Cologne. Since then, he has collected numerous titles and records, including the FIM World Championship title or as the first German ever an X-Games gold medal. He jumped the youngest motorcycle double backflip, the first dirt-to-dirt double backflip, the most mini backflips in 30 seconds and is in the Guinness Book of Records. He has won the world's biggest FMX contests on three continents. Since 2023, he has launched his own extreme sports event with GO BIG OR GO HOME, which will take place this year on April 26 in Chemnitz and on September 20 in Erfurt.
New Entrance Situation and Changed Biker Parking
This year there is a completely new entrance situation: Access is exclusively via the West entrance, accessible via the business entrance of Messe Erfurt. The biker parking lot will also be moved there and will remain free of charge for visitors on two wheels.
