Custom Line Navetta 38: Second Launch in a Year Highlights the Success of this Bespoke Superyacht

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Jan. 17, 2025 – The second Custom Line Navetta 38 has made a splash, hitting the water at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, Italy. This launch, less than a year after the yacht's world premiere in May, underscores the growing popularity of this customizable displacement yacht.

A Made-to-Measure Masterpiece

The launch ceremony, held on November 14, 2024, was a momentous occasion for the Middle Eastern owner family who collaborated closely with Custom Line to bring their vision to life. This 38.76-meter superyacht, with an 8.00-meter beam and a gross tonnage of 299 GT, is a testament to the bespoke craftsmanship and design expertise of Ferretti Group.

A Collaborative Design Effort

The Custom Line Navetta 38 is a product of the combined talents of Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy and Engineering Departments, architect Filippo Salvetti (exterior styling), and ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (interior design). The Custom Line Atelier played a pivotal role in translating the owner's preferences into reality, ensuring a truly personalized yacht.

Bespoke Detailing: A Key Appeal

The owner family was particularly drawn to the Navetta 38's emphasis on bespoke detailing. This, combined with its elegant aesthetics, exceptional livability, and close connection to the sea, makes it a standout vessel.

Oak: The Dominant Interior Design Element

Natural oak takes center stage in the interior, gracing the walls, floors, ceilings, and even the rounded doors. This creates a harmonious and luminous ambiance throughout the yacht.

"The yacht has an extremely elegant stylistic harmony resulting from the use and skilful matching of natural oak for the walls, floors and detailing. Oak is also used on the ceilings, filling the interiors with soft, even light, and echoed – as a signature detail in this new project – in the finishing of the rounded doors to which the wood adapts perfectly, naturally and with refinement."

Flowing Lines and Open Spaces

The interior design emphasizes flowing lines, evident in the rounded furniture and seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces. Large sofas and custom-designed armchairs encourage relaxation and social interaction.

Outdoor Living at its Finest

The Navetta 38 is designed to maximize outdoor living. All three decks feature comfortable seating areas, coffee tables, and lamps, creating inviting spaces for socializing and enjoying the surrounding environment.

"As specifically requested by the owner, the areas for socialising and relaxing in both the interior salons and outdoor spaces, all intercommunicating, are furnished with large sofas and custom designed armchairs. Coffee tables and lamps featured in the outdoor spaces on all three decks reflect the desire to experience life in the open air to the fullest, sharing special moments with friends and family at any time of day."

A Layout that Prioritizes Socializing

This particular Navetta 38 features a unique layout with the owner's suite on the main deck and four double cabins on the lower deck. This arrangement optimizes space and privacy for both the owners and their guests.

Timeless Exterior Styling

The exterior design is characterized by classic lines and a pristine all-white hull, a specific request from the owner to emphasize the yacht's elegant profile.

A Neutral Palette with Bold Accents

The interior color scheme revolves around a neutral palette of beige and white, punctuated by striking accents in smoky grey and black. Black elements, incorporated at the owner's behest, add depth and character to the spaces.

"Black, used at the owner’s request to add depth and character to the spaces, can be seen on the helm station ceilings, on the mirrored glass panes of some of the wardrobes and cabinets, on the lacquered surfaces of the freestanding furniture in the salons, and on the electric sockets and loudspeakers."

Natural Materials for Warmth and Authenticity

Natural materials such as teak, oak, and leather enhance the yacht's warm and inviting atmosphere. Grey and ivory wallpaper by Philippe Jeffries adds a touch of sophistication.

Marble Accents in the Bathrooms

Luxurious marble, including Essential Grey and Crema d’Orcia, adorns the bathrooms, creating a sense of refined elegance.

This second launch of the Custom Line Navetta 38 confirms its status as a leader in bespoke superyachts, offering a unique blend of personalized design, luxurious amenities, and exceptional seafaring capabilities.
