Manufacturer Correct Craft has been building powerboats since 1925. Over the years the company has acquired various American powerboat builders and grown into a marine group with twelve brands. These also include Nautique from Florida, a specialist in light towboats for wakeboarding and water-skiing.
Düsseldorf will see the debut of the re-designed Super Air Nautique GS20 and Super Air Nautique GS22 models. Both boats are bowriders and stand out with their boxy design. The bigger GS 22 model comes with a folding sunroof that shades the complete hull at anchor. Furthermore, the hull is prepared for the patented Phender Pro system – i.e. fenders can be conveniently attached to the boat by simply dropping their pins into the pre-mounted receivers.
The backseats can be rotated to better observe the water-skiers’ performance. An aft camera transmits the aft view to the helm stand so that the skipper does not have to turn around to see whether things are going alright behind the boat.
Furthermore, there is now extra storage space available for ballast. The 6.70 m long Super Air Nautique GS 22 weighs just under 2.2 tons and can be propelled by a single up to 475 hp inboard engine with shaft drive. It can also accommodate up to 15 persons.
At 6.10 m LOA, the slightly smaller Super Air Nautique GS20 comes with a new front screen in a modern, futurist style, all in line with her re-designed hull. A folding bimini shades the cockpit with two patch pockets for surf boards.
The GS 20 is now also equipped with a new rear camera for increased safety when water-skiing or wakeboarding. She can be propelled with a max 450 hp inboard engine and has room for 12.
