SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Jan. 24, 2025 – Audi Tradition is set to embark on another thrilling year, packed with appearances at renowned events and celebrations of significant milestones. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Audi brand's revival, a pivotal moment in automotive history.

A Legacy of Innovation: Celebrating 60 Years of Audi

In 1965, Auto Union GmbH, the forerunner to AUDI AG, ushered in a new era by discontinuing its two-stroke engine production and introducing a groundbreaking model featuring a four-cylinder four-stroke engine. This marked the birth of the first post-World War II Audi. Enthusiasts can admire this iconic vehicle and other treasures from the historical AUDI AG collection at the International Museum Day event in Ingolstadt on May 18th. Adding to the excitement, the Audi museum mobile will be commemorating its own 25th anniversary on the same day.

Kicking Off the Year in Style: Bremen Classic Motorshow and Ice Racing Action

The year's activities commence with the Bremen Classic Motorshow (January 31–February 2) where Audi Tradition will be showcasing a polished aluminum Audi A2 to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Visitors can also find Audi Tradition representatives at the Volkswagen Group stand in Hall 5, ready to answer any questions about their range of spare parts.

Simultaneously, motorsports enthusiasts can witness the thrill of ice racing at the FAT ICE RACE in Zell am See, Austria (February 1). Two-time German rally champion Harald Demuth will be piloting a legendary 1984 Audi Sport quattro Rallye, while Dakar Rally winner Jutta Kleinschmidt will be taking the wheel of the victorious 2024 Dakar car, the Audi RS Q e-tron.

The ice racing excitement continues with The I.C.E. concours d’elegance in St. Moritz (February 21-22), where nine-time Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen will be presenting the remarkable 1986 Audi quattro Group S on the frozen Lake St. Moritz. This innovative rally car, with its tubular space frame, plastic bodywork, and mid-engine layout with a four-valve turbocharged engine, was designed for the planned Group S rally category, though it never saw competitive action.

Summer Highlights: Goodwood Festival of Speed and Classic Car Rallies

The world-renowned Goodwood Festival of Speed (July 10–13) will host Audi Tradition as they celebrate the 25th anniversary of Audi's first victory at Le Mans, joined by racing legends Tom Kristensen and Rinaldo “Dindo” Capello. The iconic Auto Union Type 52, driven by Hans-Joachim Stuck, will also grace the Goodwood Hillclimb alongside the legendary Le Mans race cars.

Following Goodwood, Audi Tradition will participate in the Eifel Rallye Festival in Daun (July 24–26). Furthermore, Audi Tradition will be preparing vehicles from its historical collection for participation in classic car rallies such as the Heidelberg Historic (July 4–5), the Donau Classic (July 18–19), and the Sachsen Classic (August 14–16).

Autumn Events: Museum Day, Night of the Museums, and Model Car Markets

The Audi museum mobile will be actively involved in International Museum Day (May 18) and the Night of the Museums (September 13). Rounding out the year, model car enthusiasts can look forward to the model car markets at the Audi Forum in Neckarsulm (November 9) and Ingolstadt (November 30).
