
SHERIDAN, WYOMING – April 16, 2025 - Audi Sport customer racing teams have hit the ground running in 2025, scoring major victories and podiums across continents. From Australia to Europe and South Africa, the Audi R8 LMS in its GT3, GT2, and GT4 variants, along with the Audi RS 3 LMS touring car, have been instrumental in a wave of early-season success. These results reaffirm Audi’s position as a leader in global motorsport, particularly in customer racing.
Audi R8 LMS GT3 Dominates International Circuits
Victories Down Under and Across Asia
The Fanatec GT World Challenge powered by AWS set the stage for Audi’s strong GT3 season opener in Australia. Broc Feeney and Brad Schumacher from Kelso Electrical Team MPC clinched victory in a tense second race at Phillip Island, narrowly winning by just seven tenths of a second. Brendon Leitch and Tim Miles from Dayle ITM Team MPC added to the achievement with a third-place finish in Race 1.
Solo driver Renee Gracie delivered a standout performance in the Am category with a second-place finish and class win for the Only Fans Team MPC. Meanwhile, brothers James and Theo Koundouris consistently placed as the third-best Am team in both races for Supabarn Supermarkets/Tigani Audi.
In Asia, the FAW Audi Sport Asia Team Phantom made waves in Sepang. Despite starting 15th, drivers Franky Cheng and James Yu powered through to claim third overall in Race 2 and secured back-to-back Silver class wins. They now hold a 17-point lead in the Silver category standings.
Podium Finishes in Europe and South Africa
Saintéloc Racing claimed a class podium in the Endurance Cup at Le Castellet, while Lithuania’s Juta Racing celebrated a Pro-Am second-place result in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie. Continental Racing by Simpson Motorsport took third in the Am classification at the Mugello 12 Hours, and PB Racing with JMH scored a podium at Donington in the GT Cup Championship.
In South Africa, Bradley Liebenberg of Stradale Motorsport dominated at Killarney, winning all three races, and later claimed another win at Kyalami. Paul Hill also secured two third-place finishes in Class A, with Marius Jackson taking third in the South African Endurance Series at Aldo Scribante.
Audi R8 LMS GT2 Secures Success in Spain and the U.S.
Consistent Performance Across Regions
In the Campeonato de España Resistencia, Daniel Carretero and Pablo Yeregui of C.D. Dago secured third place at Navarra, finishing second overall in the winter season standings. Across the Atlantic, CJ Moses of GMG Racing claimed second in the GT2 classification in GT America powered by AWS.

Thrills in China, Europe, and Australia
The Harmony Racing/Harmony Winhere Racing team was a standout in the inaugural SRO GT Cup. Chen Weian emerged victorious in the opening race in Shanghai during the Formula 1 Heineken Chinese Grand Prix weekend, and followed it up with an impressive second-place finish after starting from 11th.
Team Speedcar’s Robert Consani and Benjamin Lariche claimed a narrow victory at Le Castellet in the GT4 European Series, beating a Toyota by just 0.076 seconds. Teammates Julien Ripert and Philippe Thalamy added another podium with a third-place finish in the amateur classification.
In Australia, Blake Purdie and Daniel Price of Purdie Racing took second in Race 1 and won Race 2 at Phillip Island in the Monochrome GT4 series. German drivers Tobias Erdmann and Bernd Schaible also racked up wins in both the NATC and DMV Super Touring and GT Cup events.
Audi RS 3 LMS Shines in Touring Car Championships
Celebrating a Decade of TCR Success
Marking 10 years in the TCR category, the Audi RS 3 LMS continues to impress. With over 2,300 races under its belt, the compact touring car has achieved 1,824 podiums and 658 wins—a 78% podium success rate.
At the TCR European Endurance opener in Mugello, Audi customer teams delivered a 1-2 finish. PMA Motorsport’s Franco Girolami and Sandro Pelatti edged out BF Motorsport’s Alessandro Alcidi and Yuri Brigliadori by 3.6 seconds. Texaco Team AMS secured the Gen1 win, and Tuder Racing placed second in the DSG class.
Further success followed in Italy’s Coppa Italia Turismo, where BF Motorsport and Next Motorsport drivers took multiple podiums. In the TCR Eastern Europe at Red Bull Ring, Aditis Racing’s Bartosz Groszek and Martin Kadlečik returned with three trophies.
In Germany’s Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, Goroyan RT by sharky-racing won the TCR class. Max Kruse Racing also scored a class win and two podiums. Club racing triumphs continued at Oschersleben, and in the UK, Bradley Burns secured two third places in TCR UK with Area Motorsport.

The Audi Sport Asia Trophy is back for a sixth season, offering a €50,000 prize to the top amateur driver. “The proof that our concept works is clear to see,” said Alexander Blackie, Head of Audi Sport customer racing Asia. “With 94 Audi drivers scoring points, we set a new record last season.”
