Confex Hall at FIBO 2025: A New Hub for Innovation in Fitness, Health, and Technology

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Mar. 22, 2025 - Where Future-Forward Fitness Meets Technology and Innovation

FIBO 2025 is ushering in a new era of innovation and inspiration with the launch of the Confex Hall, a groundbreaking addition to the world’s leading trade show for fitness, health, and wellness. This new space highlights how artificial intelligence, smart technology, and digitalization are transforming the way we approach fitness and health—empowering both professionals and consumers with cutting-edge tools for better, more personalized wellness.

“With the Confex Hall, we are creating a new platform in a state-of-the-art environment that focuses on innovation, technology, and the future of the fitness and health industry,” said Silke Frank, Event Director of FIBO. “Combining expo and education areas, the Confex Hall is designed for professionals during the week and for our tech-savvy private visitors over the weekend.”

Future Forum: Experience the Future of Fitness and Wellness

At the heart of the Confex Hall is the Future Forum, now relocated from Hall 7. This dynamic stage has become a central destination for visionaries and investors looking to explore the fitness market of tomorrow.

On Thursday and Friday, the Future Forum hosts a high-level program of sessions, panel discussions, and product pitches featuring industry leaders such as Bryan O’Rourke, Karl Foster, and Daniel Jones. Key topics include:

  • Digital revenue models in fitness
  • Efficiency gains through automation
  • AI-powered coaching
  • Fitness for healthy aging

The Future Forum is supported by top partners like Europe Active, BSA, M&L Partners, EGYM, Technogym, Urban Sports Club, Core Health, Gymnation, Myzone, and more.

One standout session will feature Gregor Bieler, CEO of Sport Alliance, presenting insights on “Developing New Revenue Streams with Digital Solutions.” A follow-up panel with experts like Jens Schultze (Les Mills), Ernst De Neef (Funxtion), and Tarek Mounir (Enhance) will dive deeper into these digital strategies.

Exploring Longevity, Emotional Fitness, and AI Coaching

On Friday, the program shifts its focus to how generative AI and intelligent coaching agents are revolutionizing personalized health and training. In “Active Lifespan – Training the Longevity Athlete,” speakers will examine how fitness contributes to a longer, high-performing life.

Another session, “Mind and Brain – Working Out the Emotional Fitness,” spotlights the growing importance of cognitive performance and mental strength in today’s wellness journeys. The Fitness Industry Technology Council will conclude the day by summarizing key insights and offering a visionary outlook on what lies ahead for the industry.

Weekend Premiere: Future Forum Opens to the Public

For the first time ever, the Future Forum will open its doors to consumers on Saturday and Sunday, offering an exciting and educational experience. Attendees can explore emerging tech like mixed-reality training, AI-driven fitness tools, and active lifestyle innovations—presented by the BSA Academy and other partners.

Visitors can also explore new career opportunities in the fitness industry. Companies like All Inclusive Fitness, PRIME TIME Fitness, RSG Group GmbH (Gold’s Gym, McFit, JOHN REED), and Wellyou Fitness will be on hand to introduce their national job openings and company visions.

Tech Valley Finds a New Home

Also making its mark in the Confex Hall is Tech Valley, previously located in Hall 7. This feature now provides a prominent platform for trailblazing hardware and software providers to showcase their innovations. Notable participants include Lexicon Software, CloudFit Pty Ltd, and Fit Alliance, each presenting new ways to optimize fitness technology.

A New Era for Digital Health and Fitness Begins

The Confex Hall is more than just an exhibition space—it’s a hub for discovery, learning, and industry transformation. Positioned in the south of the Koelnmesse grounds, the Confex Hall features its own dedicated entrance. For added convenience, FIBO will run shuttle buses from P22 directly to the Confex entrance on Thursday and Friday.

This new addition cements FIBO’s commitment to digital transformation, innovation, and consumer engagement. It brings together all key players—technology providers, fitness companies, and consumers—to explore and shape the future of active living.

The Future Is Now—Don’t Miss Your Chance to Be Part of It

The next FIBO Show takes place April 10–13, 2025, in Cologne, Germany. Whether you're a fitness enthusiast, a wellness professional, or someone looking to discover what’s next in personal health technology, the Confex Hall is your destination. Learn more at fibo.com.
