Hero Games Announces 'CrisisX' and Western Market Expansion at gamescom 2024

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – August 20, 2024 – Leading Chinese game developer and publisher, Hero Games, has unveiled its latest project, the highly anticipated open-world survival game, "CrisisX." The company also confirmed that the game will be playable at gamescom 2024, marking Hero Games' debut in Western markets.

CrisisX: A Thrilling Fight for Survival in a Mutated World

Set in a once-tranquil coastal town in the western US during the 1990s, "CrisisX" thrusts players into a world ravaged by a catastrophic scientific experiment gone wrong. A devastating infection has swept through the town, transforming its inhabitants and wildlife into horrifying mutants. Players awaken on the beach to a shattered reality, where survival hinges on their ability to navigate the treacherous landscape, forge alliances with other survivors, and unravel the mystery behind the unfolding nightmare.

Gamescom attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to experience "CrisisX" firsthand on both mobile and PC platforms, with additional interactive activities at the Hero Games booth in Hall 10.1.
