SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Dec. 15, 2024 – The European Handball Federation (EHF) has revealed the highly anticipated Women's EHF EURO 2024 All-star Team, presented by Lidl. This prestigious selection recognizes the exceptional performances of players throughout the tournament, culminating in the final match between Denmark and Norway.
A Diverse and Talented Lineup
The All-star Team features a dynamic mix of players from seven different nations, showcasing the depth of talent and competitive spirit of the championship.

Klujber and Friis also received All-star recognition at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, solidifying their positions as top performers in women's handball.
Reistad's Continued Dominance
Henny Reistad, who earned MVP honors in the 2022 EHF EURO, was named the All-star center back for 2024. This adds to her impressive collection of individual awards, including MVP of the 2023 IHF Women's World Championship and All-star left back at the 2021 World Championship.
Simon Shines as Young Player
Twenty-year-old Petra Simon received the inaugural All-star Young Player award, recognizing her outstanding debut performance in the EHF EURO. Simon's impressive 25 goals and 22 assists contributed significantly to Hungary's journey to the semi-finals.
Selection Process
The All-star Team was determined through a combination of fan voting and expert evaluation. Nearly 10,000 votes were cast through the Home of Handball app, and the final selection was confirmed by a panel of experts, including EHF Champions League winners Andrea Lekic and Ana Gros, coaching expert Per Johansson, and EHF representatives.
MVP Announcement
The tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP) will be announced after the final match between Denmark and Norway on December 15th.
