This stunning creation seamlessly blends classic hot rod aesthetics with the distinctive BMW essence, showcasing Yaffe's unparalleled design prowess.

Yaffe's journey began with the founding of American Legend Motorcycle Company, which later evolved into Paul Yaffe's Bagger Nation. His creations have garnered numerous accolades, including three "World's Most Beautiful Motorcycle" awards from the Oakland Roadster Show and multiple awards from Easyriders Magazine. He has also been inducted into the Sturgis Hall of Fame, cementing his legacy as a true icon.
The Birth of a Masterpiece
Yaffe's latest masterpiece is a testament to his unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and innovation. He embarked on this project with a deep understanding of the BMW R 18 Transcontinental, having ridden it extensively across the USA.
With a vision to create a big wheel bagger like no other, Yaffe meticulously preserved the original BMW components, ensuring that his custom creation remained authentic to its roots. He commissioned a custom 26-inch front wheel, stretched and raked the frame, and engineered special triple trees to accommodate the new wheel and optimize handling.
Drawing inspiration from the iconic 50's Mercury Lead Sled, Yaffe's team meticulously crafted several one-of-a-kind components and modified existing R 18 elements. The steel front fender was made from scratch, the original fairing was restructured, and a unique chin spoiler was developed to conceal the radiator.
Yaffe also extended the rear fender, created new saddlebag skins, and rearranged the taillights for a classic hot rod look. He even designed a sophisticated air suspension system and side pipes to enhance both performance and aesthetics.

To complete his masterpiece, Yaffe opted for a classic hot rod aesthetic, emphasizing simplicity and allure. The bike was meticulously painted in a deep gloss black, complemented by a striking ochs blood red interior.
