"Artificial intelligence collects, processes and uses heterogeneous data from various sources to predict critical events of intensive care patients. The data is used to create intelligent algorithms that support clinical decision-making by healthcare staff and trigger an alarm if the patient's health deteriorates. This enables hospital staff to effectively anticipate critical situations. As a result, patients in the intensive care unit receive better care."
