SHERIDAN, WYOMING – September 7, 2024 – The red carpet is about to be rolled out, the presenters are preparing for the gala, and the nominees are practicing their excited anticipation: On September 15th, the 76th Primetime Emmys will be awarded in Los Angeles. MagentaTV will broadcast this year's award ceremony on the channel #dabeiTV live and exclusively on the night of September 15th to 16th from 2:00 AM. The preliminary reporting begins at 00:35 AM, followed by the "Red Carpet Show" at 01:00 AM.
"With MagentaTV, we are the only provider in Germany to bundle many of the nominated series on one platform, which is available through us or our partners," said Arnim Butzen, TV head of Telekom. "That's why we decided to bring the Emmys back to Germany and offer series fans a real highlight. We are particularly excited to see how the fifth season of 'Fargo' performs, for which we have the exclusive rights in Germany. With fifteen nominations, we are of course keeping our fingers crossed for Noah Hawley and his team!"
#dabeiTV will use the commercial breaks during the award ceremony in the USA for a valuable add-on: Hanna Huge, series expert from Serienjunkies.de, and freelance journalist Patrick Heidmann will take the opportunity to share their assessments and analyses of the event with the viewers. Series enthusiasts can not only follow the award ceremony live but also receive interesting background information on the nominees and lucky winners.
MagentaTV customers can also access the entire broadcast, including commentary, as well as a 15-minute summary from September 16th (approx. 12:00 PM) at any time with the included streaming offer "MagentaTV+". In addition, there will be a one-time repeat of the award ceremony on the channel #dabeiTV MagentaTV on September 16th, just in time for prime time at 8:15 PM.
