The tests revealed that Telekom achieved approximately 99% 5G coverage in large cities and 97% in smaller towns. Even on connecting roads (93% 5G coverage) and along railway lines (95% 5G coverage), Telekom significantly outpaced its rivals.
Furthermore, Telekom demonstrated impressive download speeds, achieving an average speed of 915 megabits per second in the fastest 10% of all measurements in urban areas. This surpasses the speeds achieved by competitors by over 300 megabits per second.

connect partnered with umlaut, a renowned testing and certification company, to conduct its rigorous mobile network test in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The test involved:
- Drive tests: Over 11,000 kilometers driven in 23 major cities and 25 smaller towns.
