SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Feb. 24, 2025 – Concord Hospitality, a leading hotel management and development firm with a portfolio of over 140 properties across North America, proudly celebrates its 40th anniversary.
Four Decades of Hospitality Leadership
Founded in Ohio in 1985, Concord Hospitality has experienced remarkable growth, evolving from a single hotel in Pennsylvania to a major industry player. Now headquartered in North Carolina, the company manages properties under prestigious brands, including Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, and IHG. As of January 2025, Concord Hospitality oversees 145 hotels, encompassing nearly 24,000 rooms across 25 U.S. states and two Canadian provinces, alongside more than 30 bars and restaurants.
Milestones and Achievements
A significant milestone in 2024 was the grand opening of The Westin Atlanta Gwinnett, a 348-room hotel located in the city’s Gas South District. Under the visionary leadership of Founder and CEO Mark Laport, Concord Hospitality has established a strong reputation for its expertise in managing diverse hotel segments, from select-service and extended-stay properties to luxury hotels, bars, and restaurants. The company is on track to open 14 additional hotels and six restaurants this year, further expanding its footprint.
Commitment to Excellence and Guest Satisfaction
“Over the past four decades, Concord Hospitality has not only expanded its portfolio but has also redefined what it means to deliver world-class hospitality,” said Laport. “This incredible milestone would not have been possible without the unwavering passion, dedication, and ingenuity of our team members, as well as the trust and support of our valued partners, guests and communities.”
In addition to its growth, Concord Hospitality has been recognized for its unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction. The company ranked among the top four in the J.D. Power 2024 North America Third-Party Hotel Management Guest Satisfaction Benchmark, surpassing the 700-point mark. This achievement highlights the company’s excellence across six key categories, including staff service, food and beverage, and overall value.
