Lovett, who joined the company in 2017 as Vice President, Development, previously held the position of Senior Vice President, Development, since 2022.

Lovett will continue to oversee the planning, design, and construction of Trinity’s acquisitions and existing portfolio. Since joining the company, he has played a pivotal role in repositioning Trinity’s properties and has successfully managed over $750 million in capital projects across the portfolio.

Under Lovett’s leadership, Trinity has undertaken major renovation and repositioning efforts, enhancing the company’s reputation for excellence in hospitality real estate. Key projects include:
- The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas – In 2024, Trinity transformed the property into a Ritz-Carlton through a full-scale renovation, including guestrooms, villas, pools, and the addition of a new signature restaurant, lobby bar, coffee shop, pool bar, and club lounge.
- Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka’anapali – A $160-million multi-phase renovation completed in 2024 modernized all aspects of the resort, featuring the reimagined Hokupa‘a and Kūkahi Towers.
- JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa – Trinity completed a $108-million transformation in 2023, renovating all 950 guestrooms, public areas, and introducing two new signature restaurants along with an expanded water park complex.
- Grande Lakes Orlando Resort – A $118-million multi-phase renovation, completed in 2022, enhanced all 1,592 guestrooms, restaurants, public areas, the club lounge, and introduced a new water park complex.
