SHERIDAN, WYOMING – June 29, 2025 – With Summerjam 2025 just days away, excitement is reaching a fever pitch as festivalgoers from all over the world prepare for an unforgettable celebration of reggae, Afrobeats, hip-hop, and dancehall on the shores of Cologne’s Fühlinger See. Whether you’re driving, biking, or flying in, here’s everything you need to know to make your Summerjam adventure as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Cruise into Summerjam: Driving Made Easy
If you’re hitting the road, set your GPS for the A1 motorway and take Exit 100 at Köln Niehl/Fühlingen. From there, follow the official signs straight to the central parking area. Remember:
- Parking is only possible with a digital ticket from the Summerjam Ticket Shop.
- Parking passes start at €12 for a day pass (valid until 6:00 AM the next day), €32.50 for a weekend pass with single entry, or €50 for multiple entries.
- Parking lots open Wednesday, July 2 at 8:00 AM and close Monday, July 7 at 11:00 AM.
Don’t risk a hefty fine: “Important: Use only the official parking zones. Vehicles parked illegally may be towed at a cost of €150 or more.” Carpooling with friends is strongly encouraged!
For quick drop-offs or pickups, use the Kiss & Ride Zone at P4, easily spotted on the festival map by the purple car with a heart symbol.
Easy Arrivals by Train and Bus
Arriving by train is just as convenient. From Cologne Central Station, hop on S-Bahn line S11 to Chorweiler, then continue on bus 122 or the official Summerjam Shuttle.
The free Summerjam Shuttle (with your festival ticket or wristband) makes getting around a breeze, with routes connecting:
- City Center Chorweiler ↔ Camping Area
- Visitor Parking ↔ Camping Area
- Parking Shuttle: P Central ↔ B1
Shuttles run frequently starting Thursday. Don’t forget: “Important: Public buses (KVB) are not free and depart from the same stops.”
Pedal Power or Plane: Your Options
For the eco-conscious, cycling to the festival is a great choice. Free bike parking is available at the B1 entrance for ticket holders. Just remember: parking is at your own risk.
Flying in? The nearest airports are Cologne/Bonn Airport, about 30 km from the festival grounds, and Düsseldorf Airport, around 50 km away.
