A New Chapter in Tourism: ITB Americas 2026
In an ambitious move to foster more international collaboration, ITB Berlin announced the launch of ITB Americas. Set to debut from November 10-12, 2026, in Guadalajara, Mexico, this B2B tourism fair will embrace the entire American continent. "The launch of ITB Americas marks a significant step in ITB’s global expansion strategy, providing a dynamic platform for stakeholders from North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean," stated Dr. Mario Tobias, CEO of Messe Berlin.

The 2025 fair saw the introduction of the Meet & Match platform, significantly enhancing pre-event networking with over 80,000 business contacts established. The event showcased 5,800 companies from over 170 countries, with a strong presence from the cruise and travel technology sectors.
Sustainability and digital transformation dominated the event's themes, reflecting the industry's focus on integrating artificial intelligence in areas like payment solutions and seamless travel. The commitment to sustainable growth was evident, as the industry aims to balance expansion with resource conservation.
