SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Feb. 23, 2025 – Concord Hospitality, the hotel management and development firm, marks its 40th anniversary, celebrating decades of growth and innovation within the hospitality industry. Founded in Ohio in 1985, the company has transformed from a single hotel in Pennsylvania to a leading force, now managing over 140 hotels across North America.

A Legacy of Growth and Innovation

Concord Hospitality, currently headquartered in North Carolina, oversees properties under prestigious brands such as Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, and IHG. As of January 2025, the company’s portfolio encompasses 145 hotels with nearly 24,000 rooms across 25 U.S. states and two Canadian provinces, alongside more than 30 bars and restaurants. This expansive reach underscores Concord’s significant impact on the North American hospitality landscape.

Key Milestones and Achievements

A pivotal achievement in 2024 was the grand opening of The Westin Atlanta Gwinnett, a 348-room hotel located in the city’s vibrant Gas South District. This opening not only expanded Concord’s footprint but also solidified its reputation for developing and managing high-quality properties.

Under the leadership of Founder and CEO Mark Laport, Concord Hospitality has established itself as an expert in hotel management across diverse segments, including select-service, extended-stay, and luxury hotels, as well as bars and restaurants. The company is poised for further growth, with plans to open 14 additional hotels and six restaurants this year.
